APT deploys free 4G Wi-Fi service, display panels at bus shelters in Taipei

Taiwanese operator Asia Pacific Telecom (APT) has deployed 4G smart display panels at 65 bus shelters in Taipei. The project was carried out in cooperation with the city government. The smart display panels will provide commuters with bus service information and a more comfortable bus-waiting environment, DigiTimes reports. APT will provide unregistered commuters with 30-minute free access to its 4G networks, and the service time can be extended to three hours for registered customers.
