Arcep authorises Bouygues Telecom to carry out LTE SDL technical trial

French regulator Arcep has given its green light to a request by Bouygues Telecom to use L-band spectrum (1452 - 1492 MHz) for an LTE Supplemental Downlink (SDL) trial across eight cell sites. Six of the eight cell sites are located in Paris' thirteenth arrondissement, with the remaining two in the Essonne department (Tigery and Lisses).
