Arcep backs operators in French intelligence bill debate

French telecom regulator Arcep has given its opinion on the country's intelligence bill currently being debated in parliament and aiming to bring communications surveillance law into a single act. Firstly, Arcep calls for any intelligence gathering techniques to minimise any impact on network integrity, availability and communication service quality. This will mean working in cooperation with operators, within the intelligence community's secrecy requirements.
