Arcep reports rising complaints on fixed services in 2020, mostly from Free customers

Friday 30 April 2021 | 12:08 CET | News
French telecom authority Arcep has published its annual report on complaints gathered via the "J'alerte l'Arcep" (I alert Arcep) platform, which gives consumers, businesses and public entities the opportunity to report problems with telecom and postal services. In 2020, the regulator received 33,000 reports (92% from residential users), representing a 37 percent increase from around 24,000 complaints in 2019. This rise was mainly driven by fixed broadband connection problems. Quality of service and after-sale support caused the most dissatisfaction among both fixed and mobile users.
