Argentina approves 7% price hike for local ISPs

Argentina's telecommunications regulator Enacom has issued a resolution authorising cooperatives and SMEs who provide internet services to less than 100,000 accesses to increase their prices by up to 7 percent in February. The watchdog said it was permitting the price hike in view of the variation of exchange rates and the increased capacity of wholesale internet during the Covid-19 pandemic.
