Argentina latest to offer free minimum services bundle

Argentina has followed other Latin American countries including Mexico, Chile and Peru by announcing the launch of a free minimum services bundle for users unable to keep up to date with payments due to the coronavirus pandemic. Communications regulator Enacom said anyone who can demonstrate a reduction of 50 percent or more in their economic capacity as a result of the emergency can apply for the bundle, with operators required to guarantee the service even in the absence of up to three consecutive monthly payments.
