Aria West International is one of six winners of DCS 1800 mobile services franchises in Indonesia. Kerja Sama Operasi, carrier, won the licence for W Java, while Natrindo Telepon Cellular won the E Java licence. Konsorsium Astratel Nusantara was awarded the PCN licence for Sumatra, while E Indonesia will be covered by Konsorsium Margahayu Mapan Indosorpora/Kodel Margahayu. Primarindo Sistel won the Kalimantan franchise, while Mitra Perdana will cover central Java. Of the five regional PHS licences, only three were awarded.
