Arianespace eyes OneWeb launch contract

French launch company Arianespace hopes to be selected by OneWeb, which has announced plans to place 648 internet satellites into low Earth orbit satellites by 2020. "We know and follow this project, which we learned about very early because OneWeb's founder started the O3B constellation, deployed by Arianespace, and for which there may be other launches," Arianespace CEO Stephane Israel told AFP.
