Arianespace orders additional Vega C launchers from Avio

Avio, the industrial prime contractor for the Vega and Vega C launchers, has secured a new order from long-standing partner Arianespace. The supply agreement covers ten additional launchers for the Vega C launch vehicle, to be delivered from 2023 onwards. A European Space Agency (ESA) programme, the Vega C launch system is an upgraded version of the current Vega rocket, with its inaugural flight expected later this year.
