Arianespace prepares launch of SES-17 and Syracuse-4 satellites

Arianespace announced details of the second Ariane 5 mission this year, confirming that it is scheduled at the Guiana Space Centre on the night of 22 October (local time). Flight VA255 will launch SES-17, the high-throughput satellite commissioned by SES for connectivity services, and Syracuse-4, a military communications satellite that will serve the needs of the French defence ministry.
