Arista revenues jump over 33 percent in Q4

Arista Networks reported fourth quarter revenues up 33.6 percent from the year before to USD 328.0 million, on the back of strong customer demand. The gross margin lifting to 64.1 percent from 63.6 percent and the net profit rising to USD 58.8 million or USD 0.79 per diluted share, from 43.9 million or 0.60 per diluted share. CEO Jayshree Ullal said 2016 was a historic year for the company, with full year revenues passing USD 1 billion and the net profit going to USD 184.2 million or USD 2.50 per diluted share, from 121.1 million or USD 1.67 per diluted share.

For the first quarter, Arista is guiding for revenues of USD 320-330 million.
