ARM increases final dividend 25%

ARM is increasing its final dividend 25 percent to 5.63 pence per share following a strong set of results in 2015. The company's net earnings rose by a third last year, while revenue was up 15 percent. In the final quarter of the year, revenues rose 14 percent year-on-year in dollars and was up 19 percent in its reporting currency to GBP 269.1 million. The adjusted operating margin was 50.5 percent, down from 51.4 percent a year ago, while adjusted pretax profit was up 17 percent to GBP 138.9 million. ARM's backlog was up around 10 percent compared to the end of Q3, driven by eleven licences
