ARM revenues lift 24% to GBP 243 mln in Q3

ARM said normalised revenues lifted 24 percent from the year before to GBP 243.1 million in the third quarter, pushed by growth in the adoption of ARM processor technology. In US dollars, revenues went up 17 percent to USD 375.5 million. Revenues went 5 percent higher for processor licensing and 37 percent for processor royalty revenue. CEO Simon Segars said royalty revenue was driven by premium chip pricing and elevated royalty percentages from recently introduced ARMv8-A based chips. The group added 38 processor licenses in the quarter, with shipments of products based on its licenses
