ARM revenues up 9%, increases dividend 20%

ARM Holdings reported second-quarter revenue up 9 percent year-on-year to USD 387.6 million. Licensing revenue rose 7 percent to USD 161.3 million, and royalty revenue was up 12 percent to USD 196.6 million, outperorming the broader semiconductor market, the company said. Its adjusted operating margin fell to 47.6 percent from 52.9 percent a year ago, while operating costs came in at the low end of its guidance. Pretax profit was up just 1 percent to GBP 95.9 million, and earnings per share rose to 6.3 pence from 5.4. ARM did not provide an outlook for the coming period, due to its pending
