Arqiva, Virgin Media to deploy 4G small cells for MNOs

UK communications infrastructure and media services company Arqiva and Virgin Media Business have signed an agreement to deploy 4G small cells in some of the UK's biggest cities, including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Bradford and Southampton. The partners can provide mobile network operators with access to over 400,000 street assets, including lampposts and CCTV cameras. The solution combines Virgin Media Business's high capacity fibre network and Arqiva's expertise in wireless transmission to provide an end-to-end small cell solution, from design, through installation and into
