Arris Q1 revenues flat, profits lower

Arris reported first-quarter revenues of USD 1.215 billion, down 1 percent from a year ago and in line with the company's expectations. Adjusted net profit totaled USD 0.44 per share versus USD 0.47 a year earlier, and reported net profit also fell, to USD 0.13 per share from USD 0.28. Arris' order backlog was worth USD 725.7 million at the end of March, up from USD 631.0 million three months earlier.
