Ascom joins Surrey University 5G research centre

Ascom Network Testing has joined the 5G Innovation Centre (5GIC) at the University of Surrey, UK, which already includes Aeroflex, Aircom International, BBC, BT, EE, Fujitsu, Huawei, Ofcom, Rohde & Schwarz, Samsung, Telefonica and Vodafone. The project will include the development of a 5G test bed at the university's campus to test technologies in a real-world environment. Ascom products such as Blixt, TEMS Investigation, TEMS Pocket, TEMS Discovery and TEMS Monitor Master will be available to 5GIC to test the radio network, services and applications.
