Asia mobile operators to invest USD 370 bln in 5G networks by 2025

Asian mobile operators will invest USD 370 billion building-out new 5G networks between 2018 and 2025, according to a report from the GSMA. The world's first nationwide 5G networks went live in South Korea on 3 April. 24 Asia Pacific markets are expected to commercially launch 5G services by 2025. 5G services are expected to contribute nearly USD 900 billion to the region's economy over the next 15 years.
