Asiacell revenue falls in Q1, customer base holds firm

Iraqi operator Asiacell reported revenue of QAR 852 million during the first quarter ended 31 March compared with QAR 1.08 billion in Q1 of the previous year. EBITDA declined 20 percent to QAR 380 million year on year. Cost optimisation initiatives contributed to an EBITDA margin of 45 percent.
