Asian carriers drop new Huawei smartphones

Japanese and Taiwanese operators became the first in Asia to say they will stop selling Huawei Technologies' new smartphones following the US executive order against working with Huawei and ZTE over security threats, according to the Nikkei. South Korean operator KT and Indonesia's Telkomsel are also reviewing their offering of Huawei devices.
