Asterion acquires Spanish tower operator Axion for EUR 200 mln

Spanish infrastructure fund Asterion Industrial Partners has reached an agreement with Australian fund AMP Capital to acquire 100 percent of the shares of local tower and telecommunications operator Axion for around EUR 200 million, reports business daily Expansion. Axion is an independent operator of telecommunications infrastructure and services in Spain, providing audiovisual communication networks, transportation, hosting and operation and maintenance services for radio, regional TV and telecommunications operators.
