Asus unveils VivoTab RT, VivoBook touch notebooks

Asus has unveiled a full range of computers, laptops and tablets running the new Windows 8 platform. These include the VivoTab RT, its first tablet running the ARM version of Windows 8. The 10.1-inch tablet runs the Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor and comes with 32 or 64 GB storage and an optional docking station. It launched 23 October at USD 599 for the Wi-Fi version. A LTE model will be available later with AT&T in the US, and a 3G model will launch with Vodafone in Europe. The tablet comes preloaded with Office Home & Student 2013 RT Preview. Asus is also introducing the new VivoBook
