Atos adds new managed service for Oracle database customers on Google Cloud platform

Tuesday 2 July 2019 | 11:08 CET | News
Atos has strengthened its ties with Google Cloud, agreeing a new project that will be made possible by regional extensions of two existing Google Cloud data centres, located in Frankfurt (Germany), and the US town of Asburn (Virginia). As part of the deal, these regional data centres will be equipped with Atos' BullSequana S servers. This will provide the IT group with the capability to host a new fully-managed service offering users access to Oracle's database software and enabling them to run their workloads on the Google Cloud platform (GCP).
