Atos, Axione and Siemens secure EUR 153 mln network contract for Paris metro project

State-owned public transport company SGP (Societe du Grand Paris) has selected a consortium formed by Atos, Axione and Siemens to supply, implement and maintain a multi-service network and video surveillance system for three of the four future metro lines (15, 16 and 17) under construction to expand the French capital's transport infrastructure. The EUR 153 million contract will continue until the new metro lines are completed. Known as Grand Paris Express, the ambitious transport project is already underway and its last phase of construction is scheduled for 2030.
