Atos teams up with HDF Energy to supply data centres with green power from hydrogen

Thursday 25 February 2021 | 12:27 CET | News
Atos said that it will work with France-based HDF Energy, an expert in hydrogen power plants, to develop an offering targeted at data centres with very demanding workloads, which will enable these facilities to meet their power needs with 'green' hydrogen generated by renewable energy. Part of Atos' decarbonisation portfolio, this joint effort should be ready for demonstration in 2023, with a first full production centre using hydrogen derived from photovoltaic or wind farms.
