Australia's ACMA, TIO revise agreement on phone, internet service complaints

Wednesday 6 May 2020 | 08:25 CET | News
The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) has revised its agreement with the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman (TIO). According to the TIO, this revised agreement establishes a "refreshed approach to collaboration and information sharing on compliance, enforcement and systemic issues". The agreement provides a clear framework for the referral of compliance and systemic issues in complaints. It will support both organisations to address persistent and systemic phone and internet issues.
