Australia's online advertising up 7% to AUD 9 bln in 2019 financial year

Australian brands and agencies continue to grow their investment in digital advertising with total spend for the 2019 financial year increasing by 7.1 percent year-on-year to reach AUD 9.0 billion, according to a report from IAB. Of the total spend, 45 percent was attributed to Search and Directories, 37 percent to General Display and the remaining 18 percent to Classifieds.
