Austria works on national ICT strategy

Austrian infrastructure minister Alois Stoeger confirmed his clear commitment to a nationwide broadband deployment and emphasized the need to focus on a national ICT strategy. The Austrian Electrotechnical Association FEEI called for an increase in state funds for ICT research of at least EUR 200 million with the proceeds of the 'broadband billion'.
