Austrian auditors find govt broadband strategy falling short

The Austrian Court of Auditors has criticised the government's broadband subsidy policy, in a report that found little of the money appeared to be reaching the field. Halfway through the funding programme running until 2020, the court found in an interim review that better coordination with the federal states is needed to reach the country's broadband goals, Der Standaard reports.
