Avaya, Microsens team for smart building control

Business communications company Avaya has agreed a strategic partnership with German switching and IP specialist Microsens, a subsidiary of Euromicron Group. The agreement combines Avaya's SDN Fabric Networking infrastructure with Microsens' smart Gigabit Ethernet micro-switching technology to provide a smart building control system. Initially showcasing at the Avaya Technology Forum in Dublin on 11 May, the combined Microsens-Avaya Fabric platform will be available from mid-May across the EMEA region.
