Avaya to connect state of Virginia's first smart city

Friday 30 September 2016 | 09:47 CET | News
22 Capital Partners selected Avaya as a foundation technology partner to provide the framework for the 'Smart City In-a-Box' platform, which will first be rolled out in the Gramercy District in Ashburn, Virginia, which will be the state's first smart city. By integrating Avaya's Software-Defined Network (SDN-Fx) with 22 Capital Partners' Smart City Platform, known as 22CityLink, Avaya enables the delivery of a single communication fabric to keep pace with the ever-increasing demand for mobile, social and cloud-based communications applications.
