Avea, Vodafone submit joint offer for local tender

Turk Telekom's wholly owned subsidiary Avea and Vodafone Turkey submitted a joint offer for a tender whose winner will create and operate mobile communication infrastructure in 1,472 locations that lack mobile communication infrastructure. The auction is organised by the Communication General Directorate of Ministry of Transport, Maritime and Communication. The project duration is 3 years. Avea and Vodafone created a joint venture for this project in which Avea holds 51 percent. The tender amount will be reimbursed from the Universal Service Fund according to the tender specifications.
