AWS Elastic Beanstalk now supports IAM roles

Amazon has announced that AWS Elastic Beanstalk now supports AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) roles. Elastic Beanstalk enables users to easily deploy and run applications on AWS and with IAM roles, these applications can securely access AWS services. IAM roles manage the secure distribution of AWS access keys out to users' EC2 instances that have been launched through Elastic Beanstalk. When creating new environments using the Elastic Beanstalk console or using the eb command file, Elastic Beanstalk can automatically create an IAM role. Users can also create and assign roles to
