AWS inks satellite data download integration deal with Lockheed Martin

Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Lockheed Martin have signed a deal that will see the integration of the new AWS Ground Station service with Lockheed Martin's new Verge antenna network. The combined system will provide resilient satellite uplinks and downlinks. Customers will be able to download data from different satellites at the same time, so that even if there is an outage at one, the data will still be able to flow from another. The deal also means that both Lockheed Martin Verge and AWS Ground Station customers will be able to integrate satellite data with the portfolio of AWS services,
