AWS under probe in Korea following cloud computing services failure - report

The Ministry of Science and ICT has launched an investigation into Amazon Web Services (AWS), following a November incident in which dozens of Korean companies using the AWS cloud computing services suffered connection failures both on their websites and mobile apps, The Korea Times reports, citing an unnamed ministry official. "The Central Radio Management Service affiliated with the ministry will conduct an on-site inspection of the Korean branch office of AWS this week", the official said.
