Axiata, Celcom launch MYR 150 mln Covid-19 Assistance Programme for micro-SMEs

Axiata Group and its subsidiaries Celcom, Edotco and Axiata Digital have established a MYR 150 million cash fund to provide financial assistance to micro-SMEs. The government of Malaysia, through the Ministry of Finance has agreed to contribute MYR 20 million in support of the Axiata Covid-19 Assistance Programme. According to Axiata, micro-SMEs currently account for more than 50 percent of SMEs in Malaysia.
