Azercell service revenues fall 4% in Q2

Azerbaijan mobile operator Azercell recorded a 4 percent decline in organic service revenues in the second quarter in local currency, as growth in data revenues could not fully compensate for a decline in voice and messaging revenues, parent company TeliaSonera reported. The adjusted EBITDA margin still improved to 58.9 percent from 56.3 percent a year ago, thanks to lower personnel expenses and cost efficiency measures.
