Banglalink gets cash injection of USD 300 mln

Bangladeshi operator Banglalink, a subsidiary of Veon with Pakistan's Global Telecom, has signed a deal to receive USD 300 million worth of funding, from a consortium of international banks, Mubasher reported. The company plans to use the money to pay back USD 300 million worth of bonds set to mature on 6 May. Veon Holdings will offer an unconditional guarantee for this loan, Global Telecom said.
