Base looks for Berlin taxi drivers to try Base Tab
E-Plus's flatrate brand Base is calling on taxi drivers in Berlin to become tester of their new tablet PC the Base Tab. Taxi drivers can become tester of the device if they report with their cab , cab licence and personal ID in front the Base_camp at Unter den linden in Berlin from 11.00 hours on 29 June. Base has a limited number of Base Tabs that can be used for free during three months including free mobile internet access and calling within Germany. E-Plus to launch own Android tablet PC made by ZTE

E-Plus plans to launch a tablet PC based on Android, manufacturered by ZTE under its own brand. The Base Tab will be available in combination with a data flatrate called Internet Flat Inklusive. The 7 inch tablet includes a touchscreen, 600 MHz processor, Android 2.2, EDGE/UMTS/HSDPA and WLAN as well as a 3 Megapixel camera plus a 0.3 Megapixel camera for videocalling. The Base Tab will be available from the middle of June of this year for EUR 19 per month including the Internet Flat Inklusive tariff offer
