Base, Mobistar prepare for launch of LTE-Advanced

Tuesday 31 March 2015 | 10:40 CET | News
Mobistar and Base are progressing with plans to launch LTE-Advanced, after rival Proximus already started the services, according to ZTE country manager Bin Juan in an interview with Datanews. ZTE has already rolled out much of the equipment for Base and the operator only needs to activate the service. Base CEO Jos Donvil declined to confirm the information, saying the company will choose its own moment to make the news known. Mobistar said it plans to launch LTE-Advanced in a number of cities before the summer. Proximus offers 4G+ in Leuven, Ghent, Antwerp and Bredene since the end of 2014.
