Base scraps all contract durations

Belgian operator and KPN unit Base is scrapping, with immediate effect, all contract durations for running subscriptions. All residential customers are free to either change or terminate their contract with Base. All new contracts will now be of indefinite duration. Base will use the "Your mobile freedom" slogan to underline the contract policy. The operator is inviting other operators such as Telenet, Belgacom, Mobistar and Voo to use similar contract terms and to simplify customers switching to other providers.
