Base subscribers complain they are worse off after merger

Monday 30 May 2016 | 15:36 CET | News
Former Base customers who were transferred to O2 after the Telefonica merger with E-Plus complain that they are worse off despite the provider's promise to offer the same conditions, onlinekosten.de reports. The complaints centre mainly around the former Base "EU Reise Flat" option, which allowed subscribers to use their allowance as well as their data speed within the EU for EUR 3 per month.
