BBC consults on changes to iPlayer programme availability

The BBC has launched a public consultation on making improvements to programme availability on iPlayer to help the platform catch up with the wider VoD market in the UK. It is proposing that programmes are made available on iPlayer for at least 12 months after initial broadcast; making more content available from the BBC archive; and offering complete series box sets for selected titles consisting of returning series and their previous series.
