BBC iPlayer no longer supports older Freesat devices

UK subscription-free satellite TV company Freesat announced that the BBC no longer supports an early version of BBC iPlayer across a number of older Freesat TVs and set-top-boxes. Users of these boxes will no longer be able to access iPlayer. The latest Humax Freesat boxes, including the HDR1100s, HDR1000s, HDR1010s and HB 1000s, are not affected.
