Beeline Uzbekistan revenues fall 13% in Q1

Thursday 2 May 2019 | 14:15 CET | News
Revenues at mobile operator Beeline Uzbekistan dropped by 13.3 percent year-on-year to UZS 534.67 billion in the first quarter of this year, hit by the reduction in mobile termination rates (UZS 37 billion), the introduction of the 15 percent excise tax (UZS 76 billion) and a one-off revenue adjustment (UZS 16 billion), partially offset by repricing activities. Adjusted for these negative effects, growth would have been 7.7 percent.
