Belgian Coronalert contact tracing app downloaded 1 million times

The Belgian Coronalert app has been downloaded 1 million times so far, the Interfederal Committee for Testing & Tracing (IFC) announced. This means that about 15 percent of the Belgian population have downloaded the contact tracing app. Actual use may be different. The IFC noted that the app will have added value in tackling the coronavirus pandemic only if enough people install and actually use the app.
