Belgian Data Protection Authority names telecom, media sector a strategic priority

The Belgian Data Protection Authority has outlined its priorities for the next five years, including a focus on the telecom and media sector. The other sectors singled out for scrutiny are the public sector, direct marketing, education and SMEs. The strategic plan will be opened to public consultation on 07 January.
