Belgian govt backs campaign to grow mobile internet use

Belgian regulator BIPT and the federal Economy department, along with telecom minister Alexander De Croo, have started a campaign to promote mobile internet use in Belgium. The website Surfmobile.be will provide consumers with information about the benefits of mobile internet and tips on how to use the services. A tool is also available to help estimate mobile data usage. In comparison with other EU countries, mobile internet use is still low in Belgium, according to BIPT.
