Belgian MNOs start registration procedure for prepaid Sims

Sunday 4 December 2016 | 22:36 CET | News
The ban on unregistered prepaid Sim cards in Belgium will go into effect shortly after the rule's publication in the Official Gazette. Mobile operators have adjusted their terms. A newly sold Sim card will only start working once it is registered. Existing prepaid cards will be deactivated in six months, unless the user registers in the coming weeks.
