Belgians buy 1 mln smartphones by July - study

Over one million smartphones were sold in Belgium in the first seven months of the year, a surge of 78 percent compared to the year before, Express.be reported, citing figures from GfK Retail & Technology. GfK expects the total number of smartphones sold in Belgium to reach 1.8 million units by the end of the year and that smartphones will make up half of the figure.
